AXIS and Gies Business Partner to Boost Talent in the Insurance Industry

The Gies College of Business and AXIS Capital Holding Limited ("AXIS Capital") have announced the renewal of their partnership agreement. Over the course of four years, AXIS will contribute $1 million to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to support programs that will attract students to the field of (re)insurance, teach about risk management, and support faculty research. Furthermore, the agreement extends naming rights to the AXIS Risk Management Academy, which was established in 2017 to provide professional development resources and experiences for students looking to pursue careers in risk management.
